Course Description
In this workshop, we’ll be concentrating on drawing the figure in the mediums and techniques that are consistent with the Renaissance, Baroque and 18th century traditions. The morning sessions will focus on short poses and drawing the head. The afternoon sessions will be dedicated to a five-day long pose, which offers the student the opportunity to process and implement the principles covered beginning with the ‘action’ and ending with the ‘modeling of form’. Lectures and demonstrations will start each session to guide the student through each phase of the drawing.
